RWMPC Submits Written Testimony to House Labor HHS Subcommittee for FY 2013

Dr. Kathleen Clanon submitted written testimony on behalf of the Ryan White Medical Providers Coalition to U.S. House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies Regarding Part C of the Ryan White Program at the HIV/AIDS Bureau of the Health Resources and Services Administration in the Department of Health and Human Services.

World AIDS Day Statement

Today on World AIDS Day, the Ryan White Medical Providers Coalition commends President Barack Obama, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, and Jeff Crowley, Director of the Office of National AIDS Policy, for committing an additional $50 million to expand access to HIV/AIDS medication and treatment.

HIVMA and RWMPC Urge Policymakers to Support Comprehensive HIV Care

HIVMA and the RWMPC sent their Essential Components of Effective HIV Care policy paper to key policymakers urging them to expand access to the HIV care model developed by the Ryan White program (and others) as HIV care capacity is expanded under the Affordable Care Act and the National HIV/AIDS Strategy.

August 02, 2011 (Washington, DC) -- Congress has outlined a framework for enacting major cuts to the federal budget over the next decade that could have far reaching consequences for people living with, and at risk for, HIV infection here and abroad.
