Kentucky HIV residency program

University of Kentucky Infectious Diseases Residency

The primary emphasis of the program is to develop clinicians with expertise in the area of infectious diseases, HIV, antimicrobial resistance and antimicrobial stewardship. Residents completing the program are expected to demonstrate competency in the areas of contemporary pharmacy practice, written and oral communication, and infectious diseases research. 

Program Start: July 1

Program Length: 1 year 

Application Deadline: January of each year

Eligibility: PharmD , 1-year pharmacy residency, Kentucky licensure, ALCLS
