Illinois post-residency non-ID training programs

A multidisciplinary team consisting of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, clinical social workers, case managers and gynecologists working together to offer comprehensive HIV primary care services. The resident will play an active role in patient care activities including: obtaining medication history, medication education and adherence monitoring, review of antiretroviral resistance testing, selection of antiretroviral therapy, comorbid disease state evaluation and management, management of adverse drug reactions and drug-drug interactions, prescription refills and coordination of Illinois ADAP clients’ medications and applications.

Program Start: July 1 (annually)

Program Length: 1 year

Applications Accepted: January of each year
