University of Mississippi Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency HIV Track
The HIV Medicine course consists of a longitudinal continuity clinic experience for one year during the resident's senior year of IM training, occurring weekly at the Jackson Medical Mall Adult Special Care Clinic, the site of UMMC’s Ryan White program. The clinic experience is supplemented with an online curriculum and lectures provided by UMMC’s AIDS Education Training Center.
Program length: 1 year (integrated with third year of IM residency)
Applications accepted: Applications are accepted during the spring of R-2 year.
